Why We Built Countacus
Countacus started from frustration. As small business owners ourselves, we kept running into the same problem. Bookkeeping tools were too complex, too expensive, or built for accountants rather than the person actually running the business.
We wanted something that told us where we stood, quickly and without a learning curve. Something we could use from our phone between client calls, without feeling like we needed a finance degree to log an expense.
So we built it. Countacus is the tool we always wished existed.

We believe great software is built with its users, not for them. Every feature in Countacus exists because someone asked for it, or because we needed it ourselves. We build for the person trying to get their books done on a Tuesday night.

Countacus is currently in open Beta. We are actively developing new features, including automated receipt import and mileage tracking, working in the open with the people who use the product every day.
Beta is free to join. Your data will be fully migrated to our production environment when Beta concludes. Nothing gets left behind.
